- non-excludable→people benefit but do not pay for it. Can't exclude people from using it.
- non-rival→no marginal cost of use. basically unlimited people can use it.

- military, parks, roads, radio
- Common Resources↔[[externalities/non-excludable]] but not [[externalities/non-rival]]
- anybody can use it, but it limits other's use of it
- whales, ozone, clean water sources, public grasslands,
- Club Goods↔[[externalities/non-rival]] but not [[externalities/non-excludable]]
- people can be kept out (for profit reasons) but don't like, need to be. It's unlimited extra use.
- satellite radio, netflix, movies, music, drive-in theatre, etc.
