    • when destroyed, a new one appears a day later (cut off by event)
  • acts as gate leading to plane of shadow
    • speaking phrase in draconic sends speaker to plane of shadows
  • can form conduit to plane of shadows
    • assimilates 2 sq mi per day
    • we know how to activate it, but the event disables this
• if attacked, summons a shadow king to defend itself
