According to ThePrimaegen, C sharp is mostly used in these areas. This is the reason why he doesn't code in C#: he doesn't want to work in these businesses, he would rather do something more exciting.

I don't think these businesses necessarily have to be boring, but there is definitely a point there. On the other hand, it will provide long-term job security and I think there will be a lot of interesting work there when these older applications will need to be moved to the cloud and modernized for cloud native infrastructure.
