República Dominicana is a country located on the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean. It occupies approximately 60% of the island, which it shares with Haiti.

After Haiti and Cuba, it is the third-largest by population, which was last estimated at 10,790,744 in 2023.

It's official language is Spanish.
